WU-17: The Ukrainian women's national under-17 team retained their place in Group A after the first qualifying round for Euro 2024.
Today, on October 20, the Ukrainian WU-17 women's team in the German city of Duisburg completed their journey in the first round of qualification for the 2024 European Championship.

Today, October 20, the Ukrainian women's under-17 team concluded their journey in the first round of qualification for the 2024 European Championship in the German city of Duisburg.
Earlier, the players coached by Sergiy Sapronov lost to Germany (0:5) and drew with Romania (0:0). In their final group match, they faced Austria.
In the first half, our girls conceded two goals from Pamminger. On the 68th minute, Savkina reduced the deficit, but the blue and yellow failed to secure even a draw — 1:2.
Despite the loss, Ukraine secured third place in their group, which allowed them to retain their spot in League A. The draw for the second round will take place on December 8.

Teams finishing fourth in their groups in League A will continue the season in League B of the second round. The seeding for the second round depends on which places teams finish in their first-round groups. Sweden also participates despite having a direct route to the finals as hosts.
Teams in League B compete in six groups for promotion to League A. Group winners and runners-up with the best record against the group's top and third-placed teams will advance to the higher division.
