Yuri Klymenko's wards reached the final of the tournament, defeating Dutch BSZ Ladies and Salvadoran Barra de Santiago in the group stage, and Japanese Lazo Apego in the semifinals.

In today's final 'Mirage-2006' faced Brazilian Sao Pedro. The Ukrainians played the match well, did not flinch when conceding a goal in the 4th minute and went ahead by halftime. Notable were Yulia Kostenko and Paulina Bednarska.

In the second twelve-minute period Anastasia Klypachenko increased our team's lead, while in the third Irina Dubitska scored the fourth goal against the Brazilians. Then the opponents exchanged goals, with Yulia Deytahr scoring for us. Near the end of the match Sao Pedro scored again but this did not affect the overall result.

In summary, 5:3 — victory for 'Mirage-2006'.

Thus, our girls became champions of the women's World Champions Cup 2023.
