The Ethics and Fair Play Committee of the Ukrainian Football Association has sent a letter to the Referees Committee of the UAF regarding Oleksandr Solovyian. We remind you that this referee was temporarily suspended from assignments by the Referees Committee of the UAF.

In the received letter, the Referees Committee of the UAF was informed that the Ethics and Fair Play Committee «does not conduct an investigation into possible violations of the Code of Ethics and Fair Play regarding the suspended referee of the UAF Oleksandr Solovyian in terms of potential influence on the results of official football matches».

The Ethics and Fair Play Committee of the UAF also provided a copy of the letter from the investigator, stating that Oleksandr Solovyian is currently in the status of a witness in a criminal proceeding under Article 190(3) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
