The blue and yellow team is playing in Group W3, where they will compete against teams from Poland, Serbia, and Greece.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Football Association agreed with the Polish Football Association to host Ukraine's national women's team match against Serbia within the inaugural UEFA Women's Nations League at a venue supported by the Polish Football Association.

The first round game between Ukraine and Serbia will take place on September 22nd in the town of Starogard Gdański, Poland, at Kazimierz Deyna City Stadium. The kickoff time is 16:00 local Kyiv time.

The new European selection of the national women's team of Ukraine will begin under a new coach. We remind you that on August 31st, the contract term of Spanish specialist Luis Cortés, who became the first foreign coach in the history of Ukraine's national women's team, came to an end.

The team will gather on September 18th in Gdansk. It is worth noting that three footballers will be called up to the national squad for the first time - Yana Kotik, Iryna Mayboroda, and Viktoriya Golovach.

Who will drop out? Who will play in the promotion/relegation matches?

League A

The top two teams in each group remain in League A for UEFA European qualification for the 2025 Women's Euro.

Four teams that finished third will play promotion/relegation matches against second-placed teams from League B. Winners of each tie will advance to League A; losing teams will drop down to League B.

How does the final stage of the Nations League proceed?

The four group winners from League A advance to the finals, which will be held under a single-elimination format. Participants will play semi-finals, a final and a match for third place. A draw will determine semi-final pairs and home teams in all matches. The winner of the final will become the UEFA Women's Nations League trophy holder.

Who qualifies for the 2024 Paris Olympics?

Finalists of the UEFA Women's Nations League advance to the women's Olympic football tournament alongside France (host of the 2024 Games). If France reaches the final, its place will go to the bronze medalist.

If a national association that is not recognized by FIFA as a participant in the women's Olympic football tournament qualifies for the finals, its spot will be taken by the next best team that did not qualify.

Matches for promotion/relegation

Pairs are drawn and home and away matches are played. Teams finishing third in their groups are seeded and play at home.
