Ukraine's defender Yuhym Konoplya spoke about the final training of the team at the "Tarchynska Arena" stadium and their readiness for the Euro-2024 qualification match against England.

"“The condition of the field and the stadium itself are excellent. The boys' mood is very combative, we are preparing very seriously for the game. The coaching staff has done a great job getting us ready for this match. We were given such loads that were necessary — some more, some less, as after their clubs everyone was in different conditions. Now I believe we are in optimal condition.”

"We are set to show aggression from the first minute of the game with England because we play at home. I am sure there will be a lot of supporters cheering us on." 

"If you go out onto the field just trying not to concede, nothing good comes of it. There is a plan and we will try to stick to it." 

"Recently I scored my first goal for the national team, and continuing that with England would certainly be great. I'll try, but I can't promise anything because the opponent is very serious. We will have to give our all, and for that I can answer. Our team has faith in its strength, otherwise it's impossible."”, — said Yuhym Konoplya.
