Kryvyi Rih 'Kryvbass' lost to French Paris in the semifinal of the first round of the Women's Champions League-2023/2024, their debut European Cup match.

On June 30 in Nyon, Switzerland, the draw for the first round of the Women's Champions League took place. In the season-2023/2024, Ukraine is represented by two teams in these competitions for the first time in history — Poltava 'Vorskla' (successor to 'Zhitlubud-2'), which plays in the Champions Path, and Kryvyi Rih 'Kryvbass', competing on the League Representatives Path.

The Kryvyi Rih team found themselves in Group 3, where their semifinal opponent was French Paris. The matches took place in Ljungby, Sweden.

The first half saw the French women dominate, and on the 25th minute, Dufour opened the scoring with a counterattack. After halftime, Dufour added another goal with a precise shot from an acute angle, followed shortly by her hat-trick, settling any questions about the winner.

Paris scored one more goal later on, making the final score 4-0. On September 9, the Ukrainian vice-champions will play for third place against Swedish Ljungby.

As a reminder, Poltava 'Vorskla' in their semifinal of the Champions Path managed to defeat Estonian Flora (4:3) after extra time and will face Croatian Osijek in the final.
