"Dnipro-1" in Košice lost to Trnava's "Spartak" in the playoff round of UEFA Conference League qualification on penalties.

After a 1-1 draw in the first leg in Trnava, both teams had equal chances of advancing to the Conference League, as Dnipro-1 played the second match at a neutral venue.

However, just three minutes into the game, these chances significantly increased for the Slovaks when Erik Daniel scored an early goal. After a corner kick by Dnipro-1, the opponent launched a counterattack and Daniel scored from inside the penalty area.

In the first half, there was nothing in favor of Valery Gorodov's team, while the visitors could have scored more goals. However, this time, the Ukrainians were saved by the goalkeeper after another shot by the same Daniel.

After halftime, Dnipro-1 became more active but still failed to reach dangerous moments. Then, unexpectedly, it was the Slovaks who came to their aid. After a cross into the penalty area by Horbunov, Ghorosito headed the ball into his own net. 1:1.

Until the end of regular time, both teams exchanged dangerous shots but failed to change the score. The game went into overtime, where Babenko received a red card for a rough foul at the start.

On the 106th minute, Bukata pushed the ball into Kinarikin's goal after a cross from Dnipro-1, and just one minute later, Goryn was also sent off with his second yellow card. With only nine players, Dnipro-1 tried to play their way back, which was very difficult.

1:2 — defeat for "Dnipro-1", who will remain outside the main European competition grid this season.
