In recent days, the National Children's Cancer Institute "Oxmatdit" hosted a sports event called "Victors' Games." Children with complex illnesses who were recovering after treatment or undergoing rehabilitation at one of Ukraine's leading hospitals participated in it.

Among those who came to support the children at the request of the organizers were First Vice-Presidents of the Ukrainian Football Association Oleg Protasov and Vadim Kostyuchenko. They handed over a set of football memorabilia to Oxmatdit's General Director Vladimir Zhovnyr, which will be used for the rehabilitation of children undergoing treatment in the clinic. Each participant was equipped with gear provided by the UFA specifically for "Victors' Games."

An honorary guest at the event was Deputy Commander of the OOS Colonel Yevgen Kovalenko. One of the organizers of this bright celebration for children was the NGO "Common Victory."

"I thank the doctors of the Oxmatdit clinic for their professionalism. I am simply captivated by the courage of these children who have gone through such a difficult trial and are an example to us adults on how to deal with challenging situations in life. And, of course, I want to thank the military present at this event and those defending us on the front lines for their bravery and valor," — said Oleg Protasov.

After the official part of the event, a symbolic run by children and registration as a national achievement by experts from the Book of Records of Ukraine (the largest mass run by children who have overcome serious illnesses), the children dispersed to different sports locations. It was clear that representatives of the UFA visited the football pitch where they participated in a master class for Oxmatdit patients along with players of Kyiv's FC "Athlete."
