The ceremony was attended by honored guests — the deputy commander of the 242nd separate battalion of the Territorial Defense Forces of Ukraine, Senior Lieutenant Maxim Kolisnichenko, and the head coach of the national team of Ukraine, Serhiy Rebrov.

In the first preliminary stage, six teams will participate — four representatives of the Amateur Football Association of Ukraine and two clubs from the second league. In the second stage, 32 clubs will compete — three winners of the first preliminary stage, as well as 29 teams from the first and second leagues. The winner in both stages will be determined by the results of a single match.
