The Ukrainian youth team is almost finished with their preparation for the quarter-final match of Euro-2023 (U-21) against France.. 

Yesterday, under the guidance of Ruslan Rotan, preparing for the encounter with the French team, they conducted another training session in Romania. Midfielder Oleg Ocheretyko and defender Konstantin Vychcharenko shared their thoughts on the upcoming match.

"Of course, we are ready for the game. We want and hope only for a victory to advance to the semi-finals. Now in European spotlight all teams are roughly equal. Both those who played in the group stage and those who made it to the quarter-finals. I am looking forward to a good match," said Oleg Ocheretyko.

We are in a great mood, there is a wonderful atmosphere in the team. Of course, we are happy about advancing to the quarter-finals and will try to achieve a good result for our national team, country, and soldiers. Therefore, we will give 100% on the field.

In the French squad there are very strong individual footballers. Against them, we need to play as a team. If we manage this, then we have all chances for a positive result. Now we are at our peak in competition and want to go as far as possible, — emphasized Konstantin Vychcharenko.

As a reminder, the quarter-final match of Euro-2023 (U-21) France vs. Ukraine will take place today, July 2nd, at "Cluj Arena" in Cluj-Napoca city (kick-off at 10 PM Kyiv time).
