In three June matches against Germany, North Macedonia, and Malta, the Ukraine national team scored seven goals, which caused one very significant movement in the historical table of our national team's top scorers.

Four out of the seven goals were scored by half-back Viktor Tsygankov of Spanish Girona. This allowed him to bring his tally of goals for the national team up to 11 and occupy ninth place in the ranking, overtaking nine players.

And we must also note the debut goals scored by defenders Illia Zabarny of English Bournemouth and Shaktar Donetsk, Yurym Konoplyanka respectively for the national team.
