After a long break, the Ukrainian women's national football team WU-15 was able to conduct a full training camp in preparation for the UEFA Development Tournament and European youth competition.

— We did not miss out by choosing Ternopil as the venue for our gathering — said head coach of Ukraine's women's national team WU-15, Olena Kudzieva in an interview on the official website of the UAF. — Thank you to the hosts who already had experience organizing such joint training sessions for their hospitality, and to my wards — for their warrior qualities and desire to enrich themselves with necessary information. Everything we planned was completed.

— Under your guidance, the Ukrainian women's national team played two friendlies in Ternopil: they defeated Ladomir (8:1) and drew with Ruh (3:3).

— First we settled relations with peers from Ladomir and easily took the lead. In the match against Ruh, we met a youth squad, and the older Lviv girls won 3-0 in the first half. However, this did not knock my wards off their feet; they reduced the score to a minimum before halftime and evened things out in the second half, coming close to celebrating an unexpected victory.

— Did you manage to see all the strongest players of this age group during your stay in Ternopil?

— No, due to injuries, Anastasiia Shvorin and Veronika Derevyanka were unable to attend. I am counting on them for the next gathering in August. I obtained necessary information about all 23 players who worked in Ternopil and will not hide it: there are still personnel changes ahead. However, it is important that all my wards came out onto the field prepared, and none of them stood out...

— You have already mentioned that the next gathering will take place in August; who will be the host?

— We are working to organize international friendly matches abroad in August. It would be great if we could play against Latvian or Slovak teams. The first official matches are scheduled for the traditional UEFA Development Tournament in spring 2024.
