Ukraine national team defender Vitaliy Mykolenko shared his impressions of the new coaching staff of the national team and the first training session under Serhiy Rebrov.

On June 9, the Ukraine national team held its first full working day in Bremen, preparing for a match against Germany. This day included two training sessions. In the morning, players worked on ball technique, and in the evening, they focused on tactical assignments through game series.

Defender of English Everton FC Vitaliy Mykolenko spoke about his first impressions of working under Serhiy Rebrov's leadership.

"The impression is positive as always. Every moment, every minute I enjoy being in the national team. New coach, new rules, new tactics. We try to understand them from the very beginning."

"The national team is the national team, and the club is a club. It doesn't matter what successes or mishaps there are at the club. I come here and enjoy every moment."

"Earlier, I worked with Serhiy Stanislavovich in Dynamo Kyiv, so it will be nice to do that again. Happy that we have such a coaching staff who understand how we should play and tell us about it."

We are preparing for the Euro 2024 qualifiers, and I would like to thank the German national team for inviting us to their 1000th match in history. This will be our first game at this current gathering, and it will be very important to follow all instructions from the coaching staff.

The main thing now is to represent your country on the sports front. As the head coach said, we need to demonstrate spirit and passion in every match because this is the Ukraine national team. All boys understand that this is the national team. No one comes here without passion."

The match against Germany will be held by the Ukraine national team on June 12 in Bremen at "Weserstadion". This will be a charity friendly match, which will become the 1000th in the history of the German national team (start time - 7 PM Kyiv time).
