After a three-year hiatus due to the pandemic and Russia's full-scale invasion of our country, Ukraine's youngest women's national team has once again been able to gather for a training camp and assess its nearest reserve for future participation in official UEFA European Championship and Development Tournaments.

On June 5, the team gathered in Ternopil, and just three days later they played their first friendly match against peers from SK "Ladomir" (Vladimir) at the city stadium. It is worth noting that the national team called up four representatives of this club.

Overall, the match was dominated by Ukraine's national team. The most active player in the game was Sofia Kozishkurta, who managed to score a hat-trick on a high. Two more goal-scoring shots were recorded for Daria Kolodyi and one successful shot went into the tally of Daria Zhukova.

The second half of the match was remembered for a large number of substitutions, as well as "Ladomir" scored their prestige goal — Sofia Kononova realized it.

The women's national team WU-15 will play its next match on Saturday, June 10 against Lviv's "Ruh."
