The head coach of Ukraine's youth national team, Ruslan Rotan, has announced the list of players who will participate in a training camp in Austria ahead of their Euro 2023 tournament.
The Austrian gathering for the blue-and-yellow team, aimed at preparing for Euro 2023 (U-21), will begin on June 7. On the 16th, a friendly match between Ukraine's and Ireland's youth national teams is scheduled to take place (— start time: 7 PM Kyiv time).
The official squad for Ukraine's youth team at Euro 2023 will include 23 players. Additionally, those called up for the June training camp of the senior national team may also be included in this list.
It is worth noting that this year, Ukraine's youth national team will participate in the final tournament of Euro 2023 (U-21). A total of 16 teams will take part in the event, which will run from June 21 to July 8 in Georgia and Romania. According to the draw held on October 18 last year in Bucharest, Ukraine has been placed in Group B, where they will face Romania, Spain, and Croatia. The three best teams at Euro 2023 (excluding France and England) will earn spots for the 2024 Olympics.
