The draw for the elite round of the UEFA qualification for the 2024 FIFA Futsal World Cup, where Ukraine's national team will participate, will take place today, June 8.

Ukraine's futsal team secured first place in Group 11 of the main round of the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2024 qualification and advanced to the elite round. The draw for this stage will take place on June 8. Thanks to their high ranking, the blue-and-yellow team landed in Pot 1.

FIFA Futsal World Cup 2024. European qualification. Format

Qualification in Europe takes place over five stages: preliminary round (mini-tournaments), main round (groups with home and away matches), playoff of the main round (home and away matches), elite round (groups with home and away matches) and playoff of the elite round (home and away matches).

Elite Round

Drawing: June 8, 2023.

Matches: will be completed by December 20, 2023.

Twenty national teams will be divided into five groups of four teams each, with matches played home and away. The five group winners will qualify for the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2024. The top four second-place finishers will advance to the playoff of the elite round.

Matches: April 8–17, 2024.
