Today, on June 1st, International Children's Day, an expanded meeting of the UAF Youth and Children's Football Committee took place at the UAF, which was attended by leaders of the DЮФЛУ and first vice-president of the UAF Vadim Kostyuchenko.

The meeting discussed issues related to the preparation and conduct of the 2023/2024 season Ukrainian football championship among teams of DЮСЗ.

The UAF Youth Committee supported the proposal for the official games, but under the condition of adhering to stricter safety requirements in wartime conditions.

Committee members provided their proposals. Specifically, this is a condition under which no team will be allowed to participate in games if along with application documents of teams (clubs) there are not submitted to DЮФЛУ permission documents from regional and district military administrations for conducting games in the relevant region and an assessment act regarding the presence of shelter or an agreement on organizing shelter nearby the stadium, as well as safe accommodation of participants during possible air alarms.

If safety requirements documents were already submitted earlier, they will need to be updated considering the above-mentioned requirements.

The committee calls upon all participants to approach this issue with full responsibility.

As noted during the meeting by the first vice-president of the UAF Vadim Kostyuchenko, "there can be no compromises regarding weakening safety requirements or postponing their implementation, as this concerns the protection of life and health not only of adults but also of boys who are Ukraine's future in football."

All committee members unanimously supported the initiative and agreed to start organizational work for conducting the championship.

DЮФЛУ continues working on the project of the regulation for the 2023/2024 season and will provide it for review in the near future.
