Donetsk "Shakhtar" awarded medals for winning the Ukrainian championship
Today at the House of Football, there was a ceremonial awarding of FC "«Shakhtar»" with gold medals of the UPL and the transitional trophy "«Champion of Ukraine»".

Today at the House of Football, an official ceremony was held to award FC "Shakhtar" with gold medals from the UPL and the transitional trophy "Champion of Ukraine". The miners won their direct championship rival — "Dnipro-1" in a match 3:0, securing first place. Donetsk's club has now won the main title of the Ukrainian Championship for the fourteenth time and earned a direct spot in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League.

In the 2022/2023 season in the Ukrainian Championship, "Shakhtar" achieved the most wins (22) and lost only one match. The miners scored the highest number of goals (68) and conceded the least among all teams (19), accumulating the most points in matches against direct rivals.
