During the training camp taking place from March 20 to 27 as part of preparation for the final tournament of Euro-2023 (U-21), Ukraine's youth national team will play two friendlies against Denmark and Italy.
Today, on March 24 in Belek, Turkey, at Carya Regnum field, our team will face the Danish youth national team. The match starts at 3:30 PM Kyiv time. The game will be broadcast live on the UAF YouTube channel and regional channels of Suspilne.
The group together with coaches Vasyl Kardas and Oleksandr Melashchenko arrived in Turkey via Warsaw on March 20. The first training day was dedicated to recovery, after which direct preparation for the friendly matches began. All players are healthy, and considering that the friendlies will take place three days apart, as well as taking into account the subsequent difficult journey (on the 27th, blue-and-yellow will play against Italy in Reggio di Calabria), it can be assumed that the coaching staff will try to evenly distribute the workload among the players. In other words, all footballers are likely to get playing time during this camp.
