In Oleksandria, the local team led by newly appointed head coach of Ukraine's national team Ruslan Rotan drew with "Dnipro-1". The visitors took the lead twice, including Dovbik scoring his 12th goal in the championship, but Oleksandria equalized thanks to Mustafaev’s accurate shots — 2:2.
In the lineup of "Dnipro-1" were players called up for the latest national team training session: Sarapiy (yellow card), Pikhalyonok (substituted in the 89th minute), Dovbik (goal, assist, substituted in the 80th minute).
At the Kyiv stadium named after V. Lobanovsky "Dynamo" surprisingly lost to "Ingulets". The blues played without Zabarny and Tsygankov, who left the club over winter. In turn, the visitors were led by head coach Serhiy Kovalець.
"Ingulets" took the lead in the first half thanks to goals from Kazak and Odaryuk, while Dynamo failed to score. Ultimately, the Petrivtsy won their second consecutive game in the UPL, breaking a nine-match unbeaten streak for Kyiv. In the Dynamo lineup were national team players Karavaev and Sidorchuk.
In another match on Saturday, "Chornomorets" in Rivne defeated local "Veres", with winter transfer Alefirenko of Odessa sealing the victory after coming off the bench.
