For the first time in the history of Ukrainian women's football, clubs from the highest league will compete to determine two teams that will represent Ukraine in next season's Women's Champions League: the national champion will start their campaign at the first qualifying stage of the Champions Path, while the team finishing second in the championship will play in the first round of the Representatives Path.

The team occupying 12th place in the Ukrainian Championship among women's teams in the highest league for the season 2022/2023 will be relegated to the first league.
