On February 2nd in Nyon, the draw ceremony for the Euro-2025 (U-21) qualifying tournament took place, after which the schedule of matches involving Ukraine's youth team was determined.

Fifty-three teams will participate in the European Championship in 2025 among youth national teams. One of them, Slovakia, automatically qualifies as the host nation. Liechtenstein did not enter the qualification process, and Russia has been banned from participating according to UEFA's executive committee decision.

Thus, fifty-two teams will compete in the selection. According to theUEFA ranking (performance indicators in qualifying and final matches of Euro-2019, Euro-2021, and qualification for Euro-2023), the teams were divided into six pots. Ukraine ended up in the second pot.

As a result of the draw, our team was placed in Group F, where they will face England, Serbia, Northern Ireland, Azerbaijan, and Luxembourg.

During the draw procedure, fifty-two teams were divided into nine groups. In seven of them—six teams each and in two—five teams each.

In the final stage of Euro-2025 (U-21), sixteen teams will participate: Slovakia plus fifteen more teams that qualify through the selection process (nine group winners, three best second-place finishers, and three playoff winners).

We remind you that this year Ukraine's youth team will also participate in the final tournament of Euro-2023 (U-21). In the event, which will take place from June 21 to July 8 in Georgia and Romania, sixteen teams will compete. According to the results of the draw held on October 18 last year in Bucharest, blue-and-yellow ended up in Group B, where they will face Romania, Spain, and Croatia. The three best teams at Euro-2023 (excluding France and England) will receive tickets for the 2024 Olympics.
