Of course, the first part of the 2022/2023 club season for Ukraine's captain Andriy Yarmolenko should be evaluated through the lens of adapting to a new team and league.

Yarmolenko moved to Arab «Al-Ain» only in the summer, and judging by his performance, it didn't take him long to adjust to the new conditions. Naturally, an important foundation for Yarmolenko's quick integration into the new team was that his head coach in the UAE is compatriot Serhiy Rebrov. Currently, Serhiy Stanislavovych trusts the Ukrainian national team player immensely, as the attacking midfielder has participated in all of «Al-Ain»'s matches in the first half of the season, and started in 13 out of 15 encounters.

His goal-scoring statistics are also not bad: four goals and as many assists.
