In the last days of 2022 and early 2023, several clubs of Ukrainian national team players invited by Oleksandr Petrakov for September's Nations League matches plan to hold their fixtures.
Today, December 29, Atalanta Ruslan Malinovskiy is set to play a friendly match against Dutch AZ (kick-off at 8 PM Kyiv time) as part of preparations for the second half of the club's 2022/2023 season, which will start on January 4: in the 16th round of Serie A Bergamo-based Atalanta will travel to face Spezia Victor Kovalenko (3:30 PM).
On Friday, December 30, Bordeaux Danil Igнатенкo will host a Ligue 2 match against Sochaux in the 17th round (6 PM), while Real Madrid Andriy Lunin will face Valladolid away in La Liga's 15th round (10:30 PM).
On New Year's Eve, December 31, Everton Vitaliy Mykolenko will travel to Manchester City for an English Premier League match in the 18th round (2 PM), and Arsenal Oleksandr Zinchenko will also play away against Brighton (7:30 PM).
On January 3, Ukrainian players' clubs in England will have to play matches in the 19th round of the championship: Zinchenko's Arsenal will host Newcastle (9:45 PM), while Mykolenko's Everton await a visit from Brighton (9:45 PM).
