Today, the Ukraine U-18 national team (players born in 2005 or later), led by Oleksandr Kuznetsov, learned the names of their opponents in the qualification round for Euro 2024 (U-19).

The draw procedure took place at UEFA headquarters in Nyon. The Ukrainian team was placed in the first seeding pot.

By the toss of fate, the blue-and-yellow team landed in Group 7 alongside teams from Slovakia, Kosovo, and Malta.

Group 6: Spain, Georgia, Cyprus, Moldova.

Group 7: Ukraine, Slovakia, Kosovo, Malta.

Group 8: Turkey, Greece, Belarus, Lithuania.

Group 9: Israel, Croatia, Armenia, Faroe Islands.

Group 10: Czech Republic, Romania, Finland, San Marino.

Group 11: Netherlands, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Azerbaijan, Luxembourg.

Mini-tournaments in 13 groups will take place from September 4 to 12, October 9 to 17 or November 13 to 21, 2023. Winners of the first two places in the qualifying groups and the best third-place finisher based on results against the top two teams will join Portugal in the elite round of qualification.

The Northern Ireland team, as hosts, secured a direct entry to the final stage which will take place in summer 2024.
