The Chernihiv region has joined the UAF project "Open Football Lessons," which is being implemented with support from the German company Common Goal and the Danish Association of Cross-Cultural Projects.

Volunteers from the region, primarily consisting of coaches from the Children's Sports School «Youth», as well as school number 35 in Chernihiv city, on November 16 underwent training led by UAF project coordinator Yevgeniy Stolitenko and leading national experts Yuri Lutsenko and Oleksiy Lazarenko. Experts provided invaluable innovative material regarding psychological support for children and methods of imparting knowledge to children through football activities to minimize risks from explosive hazardous items, mines, and emergency situations related to the war.

The volunteers not only received necessary knowledge but also equipment and gear, and are ready to implement the project under the leadership of the regional coordinator, executive director of the Chernihiv Oblast Football Association Anatoliy Svystun, and with the participation of well-known teacher and organizer Tetiana Dzhuman.
