51-year-old professional Igor Mosyichov will prepare the team for the main round matches of the 2023 UEFA Youth Championship. At the same time, cooperation with Vitaliy Odegov, who previously led the Ukrainian youth national team, has been terminated by mutual agreement.

On November 7, Mosyichov was approved by the Executive Committee of the Football Federation of Ukraine for a new position. In the near future, the head coach will form a new staff and also develop a program to prepare the team for official matches.

It should be noted that throughout his career as a player, Igor Mosyichov represented Odesa «Locomotiv», «Zaporizhia Coal Chemical Plant», Donetsk «Shakhtar» and numerous other clubs, as well as the national team of Ukraine.

As for his coaching experience, it is worth mentioning his work with teams «Prodeksim» (Kherson) and «Cardinal-Rivne».
