The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) and the All-Ukrainian Foundation "Child Rights Protection" continued partnership project activities called "Open Football Lessons" for regional football associations in Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, and Chernivtsi regions.
The football component of the project is aimed at providing psychosocial support to children affected by war, both internally displaced children and local children. The project includes components of psychological support and training in safe behavior during wartime and its aftermath – minimizing risks from explosive remnants of war, mines, emergencies, etc. Thanks to partners, a large amount of sports equipment will appear in participating communities, which will be used for further regular sessions with children within the framework of the project.
We remind you that recently, as part of the partnership project, Mykolaiv and Busk in Lviv region, Galych and Nadworna in Ivano-Frankivsk region, and Zrub-Komarnivskyi and Pankiv on Bukovina were involved.
The continuation of the project will take place this fall in Kosiv in Ivano-Frankivsk region, Sosnivtsi in Lviv region, and Upper Petrivtsi in Chernivtsi region.
