Kharkiv "Zhitlobud-2", which competes on the international stage under the name «Vorskla-Kharkiv-2», played its opening match in the second round of the 2022/2023 Women's Champions League.

In the previous round, the Ukrainian team defeated Georgian «Lanchuti» (5:0) and Kazakhstani «BIIK-Shymkent» (2:0). According to the draw results, Vorskla-Kharkiv-2's opponent in the second round is Albanian «Vlaznia».

The first match was home for the Ukrainians, but due to Russia's military invasion, they had to play it away at Shkoder. The initial 45-minute period ended without goals, and after halftime, Vlaznia took the lead — Doce broke through the center and scored past Samson.

However, under Natalia Zinchenko's guidance, the Ukrainians managed to equalize from a penalty. Kalinina failed to convert the 11-meter shot, but Kravchuk was on hand for the rebound. In the end, the first game between the teams ended in a draw — 1:1.

The return match will also take place in Shkoder on Wednesday, September 28 (kickoff at 3 PM Kyiv time).
