Yesterday evening's training session at the «Hutnik» stadium concluded the Warsaw preparation period for UEFA Nations League matches. The blue-and-yellow team is now awaiting a flight to Glasgow for a match against Scotland. Players from «Shakhtar», half-back Mykhailo Mudryk and goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin, shared insights about their team's preparations.

"I believe we did very good work. There were two days of high-intensity training sessions. I think the guys are in shape."

We're preparing well for the match against Scotland. During our trainings, we recall connections that already exist among us. For this, we needed two or three sessions.

Every game is a challenge. We don't need to remind ourselves that all of Ukraine will be watching the matches against Scotland. We need to make Ukrainians happy.

The guys support each other. When there's unity in the team, it's very hard for others to beat them on the field, even if their class is higher," — Mykhailo Mudryk believes.

«Everything is good. There were matches against Dynamo and Dnipro, so they needed a bit more time to recover. But yesterday and today we had very good and intense trainings. We're preparing for Scotland. Now it's easier since the season has started, everyone is in shape.

When you come to the national team, it's always joy and happiness because you play for your country on an international level. So you always arrive with positive emotions. Both on and off the field there's a friendly atmosphere, everyone supports each other. This is one of the keys to success.

As for Glasgow, I like the «Hampden Park» stadium, the atmosphere there. Last time I felt the fans' support here. I understand what it means to be Scottish since we recently played against Celtic in the Champions League and it was great to hear the away supporters' section. In terms of atmosphere, this is what a football player wants to feel — support, maybe some pressure. But with fans, it's much better.

When you come to the national team, you always want to play and help your country. Of course, you want to play, but you need to work hard in training, prove yourself, and then the coach will decide who to put out there.

Will Andriy Lunin join the squad in Glasgow? I'm all for it. Also wishing Georgiy Bushchan a speedy recovery. The competition will be even better. This is only good for the team and everyone involved," — Anatoliy Trubin said.

Matches for the national team cannot be unimportant. Every match is important, so we need to play to win», — Anatoliy Trubin stated.

Recall that the UEFA Nations League match between Scotland and Ukraine will take place on September 21 in Glasgow at the «Hampden Park» stadium (kick-off at 9:45 PM).
