Since September 12, our team has been holding a training camp in Chisinau, Moldova, in preparation for the CS-2024 qualifiers. Two days ago, the Ukraine national team played their first friendly match against Moldova and secured a victory with a score of 6:1.

Today, under the guidance of Oleksandr Kosenko, the Ukrainian squad faced off against the Moldovan national team for the second time, but this time in the context of the Three Nations Cup.

The main events unfolded in the first half of the match, which the Ukrainians started exceptionally well. Andriy Melnyk, Igor Korsun, and Vitaliy Radovich scored three goals in succession against their opponents' net. However, after this, the blue-and-yellow team relaxed slightly, allowing Adrian Lashku and Kristian Obade to narrow their lead almost insignificantly. But at halftime, Korsun completed his brace, and the teams went into the break with a score of 4:2 in our favor.

In the second half, these numbers remained on the scoreboard for quite some time until Yaroslav Lebid and Obade exchanged goals within 20 seconds. Then Igor Chernyavs'kyi scored the sixth goal for our team, to which the same Kristian Obade responded with a goal, completing his hat-trick. And Petro Shoturma put the final nail in the coffin. So, in summary, the Ukrainian national team won with a score of 7:4.

Ahead of them is a match within the Three Nations Cup against Romania, which will also take place in Chisinau on September 19.
