Poltava "Vorskla" in Stockholm at the "Friends Arena" played a return match of the second qualifying round of the Conference League against AIK from Sweden.

In the first leg, which took place on July 21 also in the Swedish capital, at the "Stockholm Arena," the players of Viktor Syrnik won with a score of 3:2.

The first half of today's match was played in absolutely equal competition with little sharp moments. "Vorskla" had the best chance on the 29th minute when the goalkeeper of the Swedes pulled out the ball after Vincent Till's shot. Unfortunately, already added time by the referee to the first 45-minute period AIK did score a goal. Yusufat Mendes scored from the corner of the penalty area and with a small ricochet the ball ended up in Dmitro Riznyk’s net.

After halftime, the hosts added more activity and started creating moment after moment. But here simply excellently played Dmitro Riznyk who at least three times saved his team from a goal. So there were no goals scored in the second half, and the game went into overtime.

On the 100th minute Ruslan Stepaniuk had an opportunity to equalize the score, but here again the goalkeeper of AIK Christopher Nordfeldt was at his best pulling out the ball from under the crossbar. And then in the beginning of the second overtime period it seemed that the Swedes managed to push the ball into the net of Poltava's team. Axel Björnström scored.

Thus, 2:0 - a victory for AIK which led the players of Bartosz Galezak to the third qualifying round of the Conference League.

It should be noted that the full match in the lineup of "Vorskla" was played by the goalkeeper of the national team of Ukraine, Dmitro Riznyk.
