Busyks, located in Lviv Oblast, has joined the "Open Football Lessons" program as part of a partnership project between the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) and the All-Ukrainian Foundation "Child Rights Protection."

Local organizers and volunteer leaders—Director of the Children's Sports School Bogdan Pasiichnyk and coach of the Children's Sports School Ivan Tomkiv, under the leadership of the Lviv Football Association (coordinator—Stepan Ponyda)—provided important psychosocial support to children affected by the war.

The local mayor Rostyslav Slypets, coordinator from the UAF Yevheniy Stolitenko, and DRC office manager in Ukraine Jessica Carlsson welcomed the children.

Each participating team received a large number of footballs and sports equipment, while each child received a t-shirt, baseball cap, bracelet, project diploma, as well as drawing kits.

It is worth noting that "Open Football Lessons" also include psychological support components and training on safe behavior during wartime and its aftermath—minimizing risks from explosive hazards, mines, emergency situations, etc.
