The Ukrainian football team became the champion of the Deaflympics-2021, which was postponed to 2022 due to the pandemic and took place in the Brazilian city of Caxias do Sul.

According to the group stage results, the Ukrainian team secured first place in their quintet, then defeated Italy (2:1) in the quarterfinals. On May 12, they beat Turkey 2-0 in the semifinal match, and today they won France 1-0 in the decisive game.
