Today, on May 12, the first educational seminar for PL referees since the start of the war took place. It was held online. It should be noted that this is the first event after the winter meetings for these category officials, which took place in February just before the war.

During the seminar, various video clips from top European championships were reviewed. The topic of the clips was diverse, helping to cover different aspects of game rules. In a two-hour discussion, referees who are located both in other countries and in various corners of Ukraine participated. Some of them defend our country or engage in volunteer activities, but still found time and opportunity to pay attention to their beloved cause.

The goal of the seminar was not only, as always, to achieve uniformity in interpretations, but also an attempt to provide psychological support for our match officials.

The referees committee has planned a whole series of seminars scheduled for May that will cover PL referees first and foremost professional competitions: referees from the first and second league of the PFL, PL assistant referees, as well as observers of the highest division.
