According to the European qualification format, 24 teams with the lowest coefficient started in the preliminary round. Based on its results, Austria, Armenia, Greece, Denmark, Israel, Cyprus, Kosovo, Lithuania, Moldova, Germany, Montenegro, and Sweden continued their participation.

Seven European teams will enter the 2024 World Cup qualifiers for futsal. If a national association is chosen by UEFA to host the final tournament, it automatically qualifies for the World Cup, and then only six teams would qualify through qualification.

The Ukraine futsal team will start its qualification from the main round, which will be drawn on July 6th.

Format

Qualification takes place in five stages: a preliminary round (mini-tournaments), a main round (home and away matches), the main round play-offs (home and away matches), an elite round (groups with home and away matches) and the elite round play-offs (home and away matches).
