The final tournament of the second women's European Football Championship, in which Ukraine will participate, according to UEFA will take place from July 1-3 this year.

Earlier, UEFA announced that the final tournament of the women's Euro-2022 indoor football championship, which was scheduled to take place from March 25 to 27 in Portugal, has been postponed. This decision was made after consultations and obtaining approval from the host country's football association.

Now UEFA has decided on new dates for the semifinals and medal matches of the women's Euro-2022 indoor football championship. The matches are scheduled for July 1-3. Thus, on July 1, Ukraine will play against Spain in the semifinals. The venue for the final tournament has not changed — all matches will take place in Gondomar, Portugal.

As a reminder, Ukraine's national team is participating in the final tournament of Euro-2022 after winning its group in the main qualifying round in Lviv in October. The opponent for Ukraine in the semifinals will be the reigning European champion — Spain's national team.

In another semifinal match, Portugal and Russia were supposed to meet. However, due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, FIFA and UEFA excluded Russian teams and clubs from all competitions under their auspices. Therefore, the Russian women's indoor football team will not participate in the Euro-2022 final tournament.

UEFA will announce further decisions regarding the conduct of the final part of Euro-2022 later.
