Youth football teams from Ukraine's U-19 futsal squad and their Spanish counterparts will not play friendly matches.

As the press service of the Ukraine Futsal Association reports, Vitaliy Odegov’s wards did not travel to Spain due to an uncertain situation with Ukrainian airspace. The matches against Spanish teams were scheduled for February 15-16 in Las Rozas.

Due to the cancellation of the sparring games, the training camp of the Ukrainian team in Brovary will be extended by two days and will last until February 16.

We remind you that on August 30 last year, the draw for the main round of qualification for the second European Championship (U-19) took place. According to its results, Vitaliy Odegov’s wards ended up in Group 6, where they will face Belgium, Moldova and the winner of Group A from the previous round — Andorra. The Ukrainian team was previously designated as one of the hosts for mini-tournaments that will take place in March.
