The draw for the qualification matches of the next European Women's Futsal Championship will take place on February 18, while the final tournament — in March 2023, UEFA reports.

The second edition of the tournament was postponed from the 2020/2021 season to the 2021/2022 season, while the European Women's Futsal Championship for the 2022/2023 season will be held in its usual timeframe.

No changes are expected in the format of the third edition of the tournament. The final stage with four national teams is scheduled for March 2023. The qualification cycle, as before, consists of two stages. The preliminary round will take place from May 10 to 15, while the main round involving sixteen of the strongest teams — from October 18 to 23. Four group winners will advance to the final stage.

The draw for the qualification cycle, which will determine the composition of groups in both preliminary and main rounds, will take place on February 18 of this year (start — at 15:00 Kyiv time).

Qualification draw: February 18, 2022 (15:00).

Preliminary round: May 10—15, 2022.

Main round: October 18—23, 2022.

Final stage draw: date not yet determined.

Final stage: March 2023.

We remind you that the final tournament of Euro-2022 Women's Futsal Championship, in which Ukraine will participate, from March 25 to 27, 2022 will be held at the Gondomar pavilion in Portugal. Our girls will face Spain in the semifinals.
